CHEMICAL TESTING  All leather is screened for restricted substances under EU REACH (EC) No 1907/2006 and customer RSL requirements. Tests are run by accredited third-party labs, with reports issued per article per season. We screen for Chromium VI (ISO 17075), azo amines (ISO 17234), formaldehyde (ISO 17226), chlorinated phenols (ISO 17070) and heavy metals. Every result is traceable to the tannery and lot it came from. With LWG-rated tanneries we remove risk at source — low-Cr(VI) tanning, formaldehyde-free fixing and restricted-amine-free dyes. Testing confirms what the process already controls.
